Claire Murphy, M.D.
Dr. Murphy joined Pathology Consultants in 2021, and practices anatomic and clinical pathology and is specialized in hematopathology. Dr. Murphy also is the Medical Director of Transfusion Services/Blood bank at PeaceHealth’s Sacred Heart Riverbend Medical center. She also performs bone marrow procedures in our clinic and Riverbend hospital. Her interdepartmental tumor board focus is on lung tumors, and she has a special interest in providing our patients with optimal biomarker testing.

Dr. Murphy is passionate about representing and advocating for the medical community and patients to local and federal legislators as needed. She has always been active in local medical societies, including serving on their board of directors. In addition, she has been a member of committees within the College of American Pathologists. When not in the office, Dr. Murphy enjoys the outdoors and traveling with her husband and Scottie dog.
