Collection Instructions:
This panel is typically performed on BONE MARROW or BLOOD.
Specimen Transport Requirements:
Refrigerate if testing will not be performed within 1-2 hours.
Specimen Labeling:
Label containers and slides with two patient specific identifiers.
Rejection Criteria:
Clotting. Freezing. Specimen age. Incorrect specimen type. Insufficient cells for analysis. Poor cell viablity. NOTE: For irreplaceable samples (e.g, bone marrow), testing will be performed on sub-optimal samples whenever possible. A pathologist will then decide whether to report results with a disclaimer, or have the testing cancelled.
